By Staff

Snyder Langston, an Irvine-based general contractor, has been awarded a construction contract for the expansion of Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo.

The 19,000-sq.-ft. worship center will cost $5-million to build. Presbyterian Church of the Master was designed by San Diego-based Dominy and Associates.

The California-style religious facility will feature decorative plaster exterior walls and a clay-tile roof. The interiors of the 750-seat sanctuary will include two levels and balcony seating; a narthex; classrooms; choir preparation area; library space; and meeting rooms, as well as a child care center, restrooms and a women's lounge.

The project's completion is scheduled for May 2006.
