Nordby Construction Makes Staff Moves

The firm promotes a project manager and hires a vice president of preconstruction services and project manager.

Nordby Construction, a Santa Rosa-based general contractor, has made changes and additions to its management team.

Peter Rosell

Peter Rosell, a 10-year Nordby veteran, has been named VP/operations. He previously was VP/project management. Rosell has 30 years of commercial construction experience and has managed such projects as Summit State Bank, St. Francis Winery and the Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa.

David Buckel, a 24-year veteran of the construction industry, joined Nordby as VP/preconstruction services. He previously was a senior project manager at DPR Construction. Buckel is a licensed civil engineer and LEED-accredited professional. He has worked on data centers, medical buildings, schools, golf courses, office complexes and multi-use facilities.

John Bare

John Bare joined Nordby as project manager. He previously worked for Webcor Builders, and has about 20 years of experience in construction and real estate development. His background includes preconstruction and construction management for new commercial office buildings, corporate interiors, single- and multifamily residences, high-rise structures and seismic retrofit projects.
