Tamami Takenaka has joined Carter & Burgess as a project planner in the firm's Sacramento urban design and planning unit.
Takenaka, who previously served as an assistant planner with Nolte Associates in Sacramento, has worked in rendering, illustrations and graphics for 19 years.
Her project experience includes Castle Oaks in Ione and Bridgeway Lakes in West Sacramento.
