Oakland-based Avila Design recently added Silvia Vojtkova-Zilli, Karina Castillo and Dusan Motolik.
Prior to joining Avila, Vojtkova-Zilli worked with Huntsman Architectural Group, where she specialized in accessibility compliance analysis, historic building renovation and corporate tenant improvements. She received a master's degree in architecture from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Castillo previously worked for the Group 3 Design Studio in Pasig City, Philippines. She is a recent graduate of the University of the Philippines-Dilliman.
Motolik joins Avila from Frank Architects, where he specialized in custom residential design. She received a master's degree in architecture in 1999 and 2003 respectively.
