Steinberg Architects Names Cheetham as New Principal

 

The 15-year architecture and master-planning veteran will oversee San Francisco office.

Steinberg Architects, a San Jose-based architecture, planning and design firm, has named Dan Cheetham, AIA, as principal.

Cheetham

Cheetham is responsible for overseeing the firm's newest office in San Francisco and will play an integral role in expanding the company's capabilities outside California.

His expertise includes commercial development with a focus on retail and office, renovation of historic civic properties and urban planning for complex mixed-use projects.

Cheetham's most recent projects include: the expansion and renovation of the Dallas Galleria, a 2-million-sq.-ft. mixed-use center; historic restoration and renovation of the Ferry Building; adaptive reuse of Pier 1; and design and master plan for the future Transbay Terminal, San Francisco's 's first multi-modal transportation facility.
