Chris Lehane Executive Director Think BIG Sacramento
In an effort to find the funding for a much-needed entertainment and sports complex at The Railyards redevelopment site (and to keep the NBA Kings franchise), Lehane and his new regional group released a “User Fees Report” that outlines some revenue streams that the public supports. “It is these types of creative financing mechanisms during periods of high unemployment in the region that will lead to the development of a transformative project that will create real jobs,” he says. Lehane says the project will produce 4,000 jobs.
