AGCC Unveils 2012 Constructor Awards Finalists, Achievement Award Recipients

AGC of California has announced the selection of 19 projects as finalists in the 25th Annual Constructor Awards program. AGC received 40 Constructor Awards entries this year – the highest number of entries received in a single year since the awards program began.

All winners will be announced at the AGC Awards Banquet on April 14 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. One winner will be named in each of seven Constructor Awards categories.

Also to be honored at the banquet will be AGC of California’s 2012 Achievement Awards recipients. They include: Contractor Achievement Award winner Marshall Agee, Agee Construction Corp., Clovis; Associate Achievement Award winner Cathy Skeen, Excel Bonds & Insurance Services, Sacramento; and S.I.R. Achievement Award winner Randy Iwasaki, Executive Director of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority and former Director of Caltrans. The banquet will also name winners in AGC’s Partnering Awards of Excellence and will honor 2012 Construction Education Friend Award recipient Frank Schipper, Frank Schipper Construction Co., Santa Barbara.
