Premier Robert A. Bothman Inc. Projects
San Mateo Community College District
athletic improvements, $19.5 million, completed in
2005. Scope included the complete reconstruction of athletic
facilities at all three of the district's campuses. Project
included demolition of existing facilities, new synthetic
turf on all fields, running tracks, tennis courts, bleacher
improvements, press boxes, restroom and storage buildings,
site infrastructure, site paving, fencing, landscape and irrigation,
ADA access improvements and parking lots.
Private Estate in Hawaii,
completed in 2005. Scope included foundation and shell construction
of new custom residence on the Big Island. Project included
structural foundation and cast-in-place colored concrete walls,
beams and columns, and architectural concrete paving elements.
Eastside High School District
facilities (Oak Grove High School, gym, and athletics)
modernization, $12 million, completed in 2005. Scope also
included the full scale modernization of an existing high
school.
San Jose City College track
& field renovation, $2.6 million, completed in 2001. Scope
included installation of new NCAA/IAAF 400 meter running track
and synthetic grass playfield. Project included demolition,
mass excavation and off-haul, utility infrastructure, paving,
concrete paving, landscape and irrigation.

Bothman Contributes
to the Community
The San Jose construction firm contributes to dozens
of local charities and volunteers time and materials
for construction and modernization projects throughout
Santa Clara Codnty.
For example, during the Christmas holiday the company
matches the voluntary contributions from staff for a
variety of charities, including a local hospital and
Toys for Tots.
Bothman also donates labor, equipment and material
building or renovating athletic fields throughout the
Bay Area via the Good Tidings charity, which offers
scholarships to college bound inner-city students who
are involved in community service. Some of the projects
worked on in the past year include a football field
and baseball fields at Crocker Amazon Park in San Francisco,
a football field in East Palo Alto and a baseball field
in Oakland.
Working with the San Jose Sports Authority, Bothman
contributes $5,000 each year to the Special Olympics.
