AGC Spring Conference Set for
May 13-14
Plans are well under way for AGC of California's 2004 Spring
Conference, to be held May 13-14 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel
& Spa on Cannery Row in Monterey. This year's theme is
Aspiring! Growing! Climbing! to New Heights.
This year's conference will feature a new two-day format
that concludes on Friday evening.
The educational program has been reformatted as a professional
development luncheon focused on offering attendees new tools
to succeed professionally and personally. Motivational speaker
Larry Bonine will lead this special program.
Planned events during the Spring Conference include the Der
Wunderbar BierGarten (The Wonderful Beer Garden) Welcome Reception,
on Thursday, May 13, and Evening in the Alps Reception and
Dinner on May 14. Optional sporting events include the golf
classic and croquet tournament, a leisurely bike tour by the
bay and a kayak tour.
AGC will hold its board meetings just prior to the conference.
The Joint Engineering Division and the Building Division will
meet on Wednesday afternoon, May 12, and the State Board of
Directors will meet Thursday morning, May 13.
Spring conference sponsorship opportunities are still available
by calling Cristi Harris, AGC manager of conferences and meetings,
