The Roseville office of McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. is currently
overseeing the site preparation phase for the $16.5 million
construction of the Lincoln Public Library at Twelve Bridges,
a joint effort among the city of Lincoln, Sierra Joint Community
College District and Western Placer Unified School District.
The Auburn office of NTDStichler Architects is the design
firm.
The library will be adjacent to the local community college
and high school in Lincoln and will serve both campuses and
the growing population of the greater Lincoln area.
Building construction of the two-story, 40,000-sq.-ft. facility
is scheduled to begin in the first quarter with an expected
completion next year.
The library will include a structural-steel frame with stained
concrete surface. Celestorial glass will provide natural light
throughout the facility. Pedestrian and bicycle access also
will be made available from both campuses.
