San Diego Insurance Broker Raises $7,000

The employees of Cavignac & Associates, a San Diego-based commercial insurance brokerage firm, recently raised $6,915 for the San Diego Credit Union MS Walk, an annual fundraiser to benefit ongoing research into the causes and cure for multiple sclerosis.

The Cavignac team consisted of 35 employees, friends and family members. Valerie Jones, account administrator at the firm, raised $1,560; and Sue Marberry, team captain, raised more than $1,200.

In recent years, Cavignac & Associates has donated to a number of other non-profit organizations through the Cavignac & Associates Charitable Fund, including the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, Downtown San Diego Senior Center, Monarch School for the Homeless, and San Pasqual Academy.
