Facilities Maintenance Supplier Relocates to Oxnard

Chicago-based Grainger, a leading distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, has relocated its Camarillo branch to a new facility in Oxnard, approximately 10 miles from its current location.

"We're excited to offer our local customers a larger, more convenient location to serve their facility maintenance needs," said Jeff Burns, Grainger's Oxnard branch manager.

The Oxnard branch carries 27,000 products, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, and electrical and safety supplies in stock and available the same day. The new facility also features a 2,500-sq.-ft. showroom with hundreds of products on display.

The new Oxnard location is one of almost a dozen new Grainger locations in Southern California. Grainger's Southern California locations, including the new Oxnard branch, are supported by the company's 338,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Mira Loma.

Real Estate and Business Law Firm Sets Up Shop in Bay Area

Newport Beach-based Newmeyer & Dillion LLP, a full-service law firm that made its name with such landmark decisions favoring homebuilders as Aas v. Superior Court, has opened a Walnut Creek office to serve its clients in the Central Valley and Northern California.

Jan A. Gruen, formerly a principal in the real estate group at Morgan Miller Blair, has been named managing partner of the new office. Gruen, an 18-year veteran of civil litigation, has dedicated her practice to the homebuilding industry. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
