Sacramento Towers Find Hotel Partner

Sacramento developer John Saca said last week that InterContinental Hotels has agreed to operate the hotel portion of his twin, 53-story condominium tower project in downtown Sacramento.

The luxury hotel portion of one of the towers will occupy 18 floors of the Towers on Capitol Mall, Saca said. It will have 230 rooms total.

It will be the first InterContinental property in the state capital. InterContinental owns the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express chains, among others.

REP Commercial Negotiates Ground Lease for Golden State Auto

Irvine-based REP Commercial Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Real Estate Partners Inc., has negotiated a lease in Anaheim with a self-service car wash.

REP Commercial is a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and management services company specializing in the sale, leasing, repositioning, management and disposition of client properties.

Golden State Auto Spa of Redondo Beach signed a five-year ground lease for 13,124 sq. ft. at 1211 S. Gilbert St. in Anaheim. The value of the lease was not disclosed.

This is the fourth location for Golden State Auto Spa. Ken Kopiczko, owner of Golden State Auto Spa, operates locations in Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Tempe, Ariz.
