EUCA Honors Members with Safety Awards

SAN RAMON — The Engineering and Utility Contractors Association recently honored six winners were for their accomplishments in safety management and operations at a EUCA general membership and business meeting at the Sunol Valley Golf Club in Sunol.

The winners:

Top Grade Construction, Livermore 250,001+ man-hours category

Duran & Venables Inc., Milpitas 150,001 - 250,000 man-hours

Gordon N. Ball Inc., Alamo 75,001 - 150,000 man-hours

J.J.R. Construction Inc., San Mateo 25,001 - 75,000 man-hours

H.F. Ehler Co. Inc., Oakley Up to 25,000 man-hours

Corrpro Cos. Inc., San Leandro Associate Category

The winners were presented with award plaques and will be featured in the next EUCA Magazine. All EUCA member firms are eligible to apply for the awards. Winners are selected based on workdays lost per total man-hours worked and a two-year review of the workers' compensation modification rate.
